Is my PDF uploaded to a server?＋
No. The PDF is opened and edited entirely in your browser using your device's memory. Nothing is uploaded, stored or sent anywhere.
Can I edit the existing text in the PDF?＋
This editor lets you add new text, signatures and drawings on top of the PDF (great for filling forms, signing and marking up). It doesn't rewrite the original typed text — that isn't reliably possible for arbitrary PDFs in a browser.
Will the text I add be selectable in the saved PDF?＋
Your additions are flattened onto each page as a crisp overlay, so they're part of the final PDF but not selectable text. This keeps positioning and fonts exactly as you placed them.
Can I sign a PDF with this?＋
Yes. Switch to Draw mode and sign freehand with your mouse or finger — or use the Image tool to drop in a photo of your signature — then download. A quick way to sign documents without printing.
Can I highlight, add shapes or images?＋
Yes. You can highlight text, draw boxes, circles, lines and arrows, and insert an image or logo. You can also rotate, delete and reorder pages before downloading.
Does the Redact (black-out) tool remove the hidden text?＋
It draws an opaque black box over the content, so it's hidden visually in the saved PDF. For everyday privacy this is fine, but note it's a visual cover — treat it as hiding, not guaranteed secure deletion of the underlying data.
